The location is known as Chestnut Road but is also sometimes referred to as Back Ellerthwaite Road. Chestnut Road is off to the east of Ellerthwaite Road, just north of its junction with Woodland Road and approximately ½ mile south from the centre of the popular tourist town of Windermere.
