Brickworks Says
Situated in a striking apartment block overlooking a small park, this third-floor flat has heaps going for it. Designed with care, the functional layout has a lovely flow, a hallway wide enough to comfortably accommodate shelving, and a dedicated storage space to hide away the bits and pieces of modern life.
The living space is bright, light and meticulously organised. Divided into distinct areas, including a corner earmarked for pausing and taking in the light and view from the flat's elevated position, the aesthetic is pleasingly cohesive, all tied together with engineered wood flooring. Best of all, the bedroom and living room wrap around the expansive south-facing balcony with access from both. From this private vantage point, you can watch the world go by and enjoy the ever-changing views as the seasons come and go.
South Acton is a corner of the capital that has flown under the radar, but that is about to change. With a lively, global foodie scene that is bubbling away, you don't have to travel far for a gastronomic delight or a proper pub. Pick up supplies from Basil and Tom's, or catch a film at the community cinema, Act One. South Acton also ticks boxes for green spaces like Gunnersbury Park, and reliable transport connections make it a banker for commuters.
The Owners Say
I love waking up at the weekends in our bedroom and looking out onto our balcony from our bed through the bedroom door, with the sun streaming in, a vague skyline of the city in the distance, blue skies and green tree tops, and the sound of birds singing and children playing in the park. The light that enters the flat from our south-facing balcony is unmatched. It feels serene and peaceful, always.
Our favourite place in the area is The Station House. We've spent many happy evenings in its heated and buzzing terraced garden, eating delicious Italian food and enjoying excellent service.
