World famous cricketer W.G.Grace also once lived here.

You'll find references to this pretty area in 'The Railway Children' by Edith Nesbit, and it has starred in the movie 'The Theory of Everything' and TV series 'Killing Eve'.

Actor John Thaw and poet Dylan Thomas are former residents, as was the Archbishop Desmond Tutu, who lived on Chinbrook Road, where there's a peace garden memorial dedicated to him.
