Why Buy This Home....
This two-bedroom apartment enjoys a fantastic location, just a 30-second walk from Jubilee Lake, perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors. The apartment itself is equally appealing. On entering, a welcoming hallway leads you through to the main living space, setting the tone for the rest of the home.
To the left of the hallway is the principal bedroom, comfortably accommodating a double or king-size bed, with ample space for wardrobes and bedside tables without feeling cramped. A feature often missing in apartments, this bedroom benefits from a private en-suite, complete with a single shower and stylish grey tiling, adding both convenience and a touch of luxury.
Next to the principal bedroom is the second bedroom, a versatile space that can comfortably accommodate a single bed, or even a double. It’s ideal as a home office, guest room, or could even be transformed into a walk-in dressing room, depending on your needs.
The main bathroom is finished in the same modern grey tiles, featuring a bath/shower and a window that fills the space with natural light. It’s a good-sized, practical room that complements the apartment’s stylish interiors.
The main living area is ideal for anyone seeking a modern open-plan layout. Generously sized, it features a fully fitted kitchen with integrated appliances including a fridge/freezer, washing machine, slimline dishwasher, and an oven with gas hob. The kitchen is finished with classic cottage-style white cupboards and wood-effect worktops. There’s plenty of space for a dining table, naturally separating the dining area from the living space, which can easily accommodate a corner sofa or a three-piece suite. Large double doors open onto a small terrace, providing a lovely connection to the outdoors and beautiful views of the lake.
Parking is provided via an allocated space, with plenty of additional community parking available for visitors.
More about the location.....
For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. With some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.
Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston and Birmingham.
Newton Leys Primary School opened in 2016 and accepts children from age 3 (nursery) to age 11 (Year 6). Many parents take advantage of the Grammar Schools in Aylesbury for Secondary education being only approximately 11 miles away.
In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Barbers, Dominos and a 8000 sq. Ft Asda. At the end of April 2019 the Turing Key pub opened its doors and has already cemented itself as the heart of the community. It is in good company as there also numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.
