Owners Insight

"We moved to Brunel Avenue 8 years ago to provide care and support to our parents. Having previously lived in mid Devon, we found ourselves much closer to the coast which we love. Watcombe beach is a short distance away, and Oddicombe and Babbacombe are also very walkable. A stroll along the downs on a sunny day for a coffee or an ice cream is a real joy.
The Willows shopping district and Sainsbury’s are a ten minute drive away. The Precinct in St Marychurch has a selection of really useful shops, small supermarkets, coffee shops and hairdressers. Brunel Woods gives us a wonderful backdrop for the garden, which has colour and interest all year long. The view from the front of the property looks over the top of the bay towards Churston Ferrers and Brixham, consequently we get the occasional spectacular sunset. We now feel that the time is right to downsize a little, but we will be sad to leave Holm Oak House. We have loved living in this peaceful, natural and friendly neighbourhood."
