Welcome To This Charming Two Bedroom Semi-Detached 1930S Stevens House
Welcome to this charming two-bedroom, semi-detached 1930s Stevens house, one of the few remaining with its original layout. It offers excellent potential to extend into a three or four-bedroom home (STPP), similar to many others on the road.
Upstairs, the light-filled main bedroom at the front features a beautiful bay window and easily fits a king-size bed. The generously sized second bedroom overlooks the garden.
The bathroom has been upgraded to a high specification, offering a walk-in rain shower, full-size bath, and double-sink vanity—perfect for busy mornings. The insulated, fully boarded loft provides excellent additional storage.
Outside, the private, non-overlooked garden includes well-maintained trees and a recently fitted patio, ideal for entertaining. The driveway offers ample space for two cars.
Comments from The Owner
You’ll be moving into a friendly street with a strong community feel, where the neighbors are warm and welcoming. The two neighboring homes have been owned by the same longstanding families for 60 years. As a young family relocating, this recently renovated and freshly carpeted home has served us wonderfully and is ready to move in.
There’s a brilliant selection of schools nearby, in particular primaries, with Barrington, Fosters, St. Micheals and Brampton Academy all within the catchment area and with a secondary school is a few minute’s walk away.
Abbey Wood station with it’s excellent links to the Elizabeth Line is a 9 minute drive away, and Bexleyheath / Welling station are a short 15-20 minute walk or a few minutes by car.
This property is ideal for a variety of buyers – whether you’re a young couple or family looking for a home with room to grow, or someone wanting to downsize to a well-presented, low-maintenance semi-detached property in a great location.
