Finding a home can be tricky. It’s a big investment financially, and there’s a lot of pressure to get it right - especially if you’re buying for the first time. There are no amazon reviews to give you peace of mind, and so have to rely on a list of must haves, and then hope you get the right feel for a place.
Finding something where the positives massively outbalance the negatives is rare, and if you’re shopping within the price band that this property appears in, it’s hard to see why you wouldn’t love everything this home has to offer.
Deal is a seaside town, so if you’re going to live here you’ll want to be near the sea. Well, that box is ticked. Google says it takes 12 minutes to walk from the front door, but that’s age and fitness dependant - it feels like a ten minute walk. You’ll be able to see the waves sooner than that though as you stroll through the lanes and emerge just up from the pier.
The house itself is beautifully presented, and i’m not saying that to flatter the owners, or find something to write. This is “move in and unpack your boxes” condition.
The ground floor offers an entrance lobby, and a good sized lounge with storage which opens through to an impressive kitchen diner. The kitchen is in excellent order and was installed 2021. There is a wealth of worktop space including a breakfast bar and lots of storage. You can tell it was redesigned for the owners as they have gone the extra mile to make it look perfect. The use of high end subway tiles on the wall, the addition of a butler sink for example. This was a space created to be enjoyed as well as meet the practical needs.
Upstairs is home to all three bedrooms and the family bathroom. There are 2 double bedrooms - both with built in wardrobes and the third bedroom is a single room. This is ideal as an office or a young child's room to be completely honest - rather than a room for a 6ft teenager.
The bathroom has been fitted to the same high standard as the kitchen, and requires no work or expense for the foreseeable future. It features under floor heating.
Outside the gardens have been professionally maintained, with the rear garden being the perfect private spot to entertain. The garden faces southeast and so offers sunlight for the majority of the day.
There is a front garden too which has been created to give the front of the house and very different feel to those around it. Terraced houses can feel “samey” when you look at them from the outside, but not here. The staggered terrace means that it feels and looks more like a semi detached than a terraced home. The garden softens the front of the house and feels like the gateway to the entrance door - it’s an intelligent use of an outside space.
You also have parking. With no risk of coming home and finding that your “favourite spot” has been taken, you can rest easy. There are 2 separate allocated parking spaces here, so if you have 2 vehicles it’s another box ticked on your list of must haves.
Located less than a mile from the town, the train station and within easy reach of a range of shops - as well as a Sainsburys supermarket - this is the most convenient of locations to live in. Everything you could want is on your doorstep. Call us today to arrange a viewing.
