About this property
"We have thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sherbourne Street. The road is very quiet and the proximity to St George Park as well as our landscaped garden has really provided us a haven in the city! The house is a good size and has facilitated us well. A lot of work has gone in to making this the home that we have cherished living in. St George has been and excellent place to live and we find ourselves rarely leaving as we have everything right on our doorstep. The renovations have truly been a labour of love and real care and attention has been put into all the finer details to make this a really special place to be! We will definitely miss living here!"
Sherbourne Street is situated in St George, between Church Road and Avonview Cemetery, which occupies a large space above the River Avon and its riverside walks. St George’s Park is across Church Road from Sherbourne Street and is one of the city’s most popular parks providing a kids play area, tennis courts, a cafe, a skate park, and a lake. St George has many exciting independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, with Sherbourne Street near to the very popular Poco Deli, Red Church and Orchard Café. On from this, the much-loved Bristol Loaf and The Lock-Up are staples in this community. The shops and cafes of Easton are also easily accessible via the Bristol to Bath cycle path, including East Bristol Bakery, Garden of Easton, and Bristol Sweet Mart. There are several well-regarded schools in the area, meaning this is a popular area with families. For commuters, it is a short journey into Bristol City Centre by bus, bike or car, whilst also being just a short drive from Bath and the motorway networks as well. From this side of the City Centre, Bristol Temple Meads is just a short journey away.
This newly renovated end of terrace home in a very desirable location is beautifully presented. The brand new kitchen is well equipped with new appliances, brand new wiring and a beautiful terracotta tiled floor. There are large contemporary doors leading out to the garden at the rear and inviting in plenty of natural light in to the dining space, there is also a pantry with a statement sliding door.
Upstairs, there are two generous double bedrooms and a beautifully designed family bathroom. The loft offers potential for conversion, subject to the necessary permissions.
