Owners Comments...
We’ve loved living in Arborfield, it’s peaceful, with plenty of green spaces and things to do. There’s a lovely coffee shop just a few minutes’ walk away, great local schools, and a wonderful nursery nearby. The bus stop is right outside, which is really convenient, and we’re also close to Reading, which is great for shopping, work, or days out. Wokingham town is nearby too, with lots of family-friendly events like the winter carnival and fireworks festival.
Dan & Neil Estate Agents’ comments...
If you know Millgate Homes, you’ll already know what to expect, an impeccable finish, smart design, and a seriously high standard throughout. This first-floor apartment absolutely lives up to the name it’s beautifully done and feels more like a luxury pad than your average two bed.
Both bedrooms are good sized doubles, with an en suite to the main and a big family bathroom off the hallway (you’ll be surprised by how much space there is in there!). There are two proper storage cupboards, plus a separate utility cupboard to tuck away your washing machine, always a win! The living space runs across one side of the flat and it’s totally open-plan with a high-spec kitchen, granite worktops, under-counter lighting, and plenty of room for a dining table and chairs. The lounge leads straight out onto the balcony, which is just off west-facing, so you'll catch that lovely evening sun after work.
Outside, there’s parking right at the front and plenty of visitor spaces too. All in all, if you're after something sleek, stylish, and low-maintenance, this one's a proper gem.
Area Comments...
Arborfield Green is a brilliant spot if you're after that mix of green space and community feel. You’ve got acres of open space right on your doorstep, and the village itself has seen some fantastic redevelopment over the last few years. There’s a handy Co-Op just a 15-minute walk away, the popular Stables coffee shop, and even more on the way with the upcoming launch of ‘The Hub’ — which will include a Sainsbury’s and a mix of other retailers.
If schools are on your radar, you're in catchment and walking distance of the highly regarded Bohunt School, which is a big plus. When it comes to grabbing a bite or a drink, The Bull pub is a firm favourite of ours, but there’s no shortage of great local spots. You’re well connected too, Wokingham, Reading, and all the nearby villages are easy to reach, plus you’re right near the Surrey and Hampshire borders. With both the M3 and M4 close by, commuting or weekend escapes are a breeze.
