A charming 2 bedroom period thatched cottage quietly located in this traditional village backing onto glorious unspoilt countryside. EPC: E

The middle one of a terrace of three pretty thatched cottages, this delightful property is attractively presented with stone and rendered elevations and a wealth of character. The ground floor layout offers a bright South facing living room with wood burning stove, stairs to the first floor and access to a well fitted kitchen and cloakroom. There are two double bedrooms to the first floor and a bathroom with modern white suite. Double glazing is installed throughout and heating is provided by electric heaters and the wood burner. There is a lovely, low maintenance garden to the rear with paved terrace, lawn and herbaceous borders, garden shed and small summerhouse.

Note:
1: There is shared pedestrian access to both front and rear.
2: Parking. The vendor currently rents an allocated space from the village hall at a cost of £75 per annum.

Chaffcombe is a delightful village some 21⁄2 miles to the North East of Chard close to the Nature Reserve at the reservoir and surrounded by unspoilt countryside. This is a thriving community with various village hall activities, a fine old church and within easy reach of the town's amenities. Chard is well served with a choice of major supermarkets, smaller retailers, leisure facilities etc and the County town of Taunton is about 15miles to the North. Both the M5 motorway and the A303 are easily accessible and there is an intercity rail service from Crewkerne (London to Waterloo) some 7 mile distant.

There is a small area of front garden planted with shrubs and approached over a shared pedestrian access. To the rear of the cottages a wrought iron gate gives access to a right of way for all three properties. The rear garden is well established and quite private, mainly laid to lawn with some mature shrubs and trees, colourful herbaceous borders, useful garden shed, coal bunker with lid suitable for storage and a wild flower area with spring bulbs. Beyond the garden are open fields and woodland.

Parking: The vendor currently rents an allocated parking space from the village hall which is conveniently placed adjacent to the property at a cost of £50 per annum.
