Sellers comments:
"My mum never wanted to downsize, and it’s easy to see why. The house is tucked away on a peaceful road, with plenty of parking, lovely sunny gardens, and a real sense of privacy and calm.
It’s just a short walk into Henley town centre, which has everything you need — a brilliant Thursday market, a mix of high street favourites and independent boutiques, and so many coffee shops to catch up with friends. There are great local schools nearby, both primary and secondary, state and private.
Henley is such a sociable place — there are clubs to join, the Kenton Theatre puts on a fantastic variety of shows, and of course, you’re just minutes from the river, where you can enjoy beautiful walks, boat hire, and the iconic Henley Royal Regatta.
There’s a local bus that comes right through the road and takes you to the bigger Tesco on the edge of town, and from Henley station you’ve got great links to Reading, High Wycombe, London and Oxford.
At the end of the road there’s a big open play field, and just a few minutes further is the large play park near the river and rowing museum — a perfect spot for families.
This house has been full of love and memories"
Debbie and Andre's comments:
We think this is a great family home in an excellent location and would be perfect for a growing family. It has been owned by one family since new who loved the house and the location so much that they never felt the need or desire to move and we can see why.
The rooms are sizeable and the living space flexible to enable the new owner and their family to utilise the space in the way that best works for them. The conservatory could be a reading or playroom, or used as it currently is as a dining space. We can imagine everyone sitting around the table at family celebrations. The lounge is large and has room for everyone and could become a lounge diner if that works for you. The downstairs loo is also sizeable and could also be used as a utility space, again great for families!
Upstairs there are three really good sized bedrooms and a family bathroom.
Despite being just a short walk from the centre of Henley and all of its shops and nightlife, this home is on a spacious plot. It offers ample parking in its huge drive and car port, so much so, that the garage can be used for simply for storage of all those outdoor essentials.
Abrahams Road is a quiet and friendly spot and there is lots of opportunity to improve and enhance this property inside and out, therefore whether you’re commuting, downsizing, or growing into your next family home, we think this one’s well worth a look!
