  • Substantial house in a 0.62 acre plot

  • Sitting atop Hartmoor Hill with views

  • Separate and successful holiday let unit

  • Large Workshop with mains power

  • Plenty of parking

A large semi detached house offering flexible and additional accommodation with stunning views to the south and west in a small hamlet close to Gillingham.

The Dwelling

Blue Hills has a wonderful ground floor layout with a large drawing room leading to the west facing terrace. Being a double fronted house, there are two further reception rooms to the front, either side of the entrance hall. The kitchen / breakfast room is divided into two spaces, the kitchen with those stunning views to the west and the breakfast area easily taking the dining table. A spiral staircase links to the lower floor from here to the utility room and the 'flat' beyond.

Upstairs are three equally sized double bedrooms and a fully refurbished bathroom suite with free standing bath and separate shower and a heated towel rail.

The lower floor is a great additional space ideal for any multi generational living or separate guest accommodation. Added to the reception room are two further rooms currently used as a bedroom and a dressing room. There is easy access to the rear garden via the French doors.

Blue Vale is a separate cottage sitting below and to the side of Blue Hills. This is a beautifully presented barn style unit and is currently used and registered as a holiday let. The presentation speaks for itself and has two private terraces of its own with uninterrupted views to the south and west.

Accommodation

Refer to floor plan but in essence, Blue Hills is a substantial house, with great flexibility of accommodation. The expansive ground floor with the terrace stands out especially along with the independence of the lower floor annexe. Blue Vale is an Oak framed annexe that is currently a successful holiday let.

Outside

There is plenty of parking at Blue Hills, immediately next to the house and then further down the drive by the workshop and onto Blue Vale, the successful holiday let unit within the grounds.

Set back from the road is a pretty front garden with mature shrub & flower borders and level lawn to the front garden. To the rear is an expansive garden dropping down gently with those terrific westerly views. Accessed from the raised terrace or the lower ground 'apartment', the rear garden is laid to lawn and drops through to the five bar gate where there is the extended garden that has been left to long grass with a mowed path through to the very end which abuts fallow fields.

The workshop is a substantial single level unit with eaves storage and large barn doors to the rear. This has mains power. A covered wood store sits at the drive side.

Blue Vale is a successful holiday let situated below the house and eyeline and has its own private viewing platforms.
