We’ve loved living in Fairholme Road for the last nine years. We moved here from sw London and on our first trip to Cheam we discovered the beautiful Cheam Park / Nonsuch Park and decided this was the area for us. Having such lovely open spaces just a short walk away has been a huge plus and we’ve enjoyed everything from picnics to Parkruns and various shows and festivals there. We then discovered Seears Park and Perretts Field even closer which has been extremely useful for dog walks, and the wonderful ‘Your Space’ garden nursery and community café is a great place to visit. There’s a huge variety of restaurants locally, as well as the Sound Lounge grassroots music venue in Sutton. Weekends are often spent driving into the Surrey Hills for walks and pub lunches, and you can be in the countryside in about 15 minutes. Being near two mainline train stations, both an easy ten minute walk away and on different lines, has been extremely useful for getting into London.
