If you lived here...
Step inside and you’re welcomed by patterned floor tiles that guide you towards the front reception. This well-proportioned room is filled with daylight from a striking bay window, with polished wooden floors and an original fireplace with tiled hearth forming an attractive focal point. Built-in shelving adds charm, creating an inviting setting for entertaining. Flowing effortlessly from here, the second reception offers flexibility for modern living. With polished floorboards, another original fireplace and bespoke shelving, it’s ideal for gatherings or quiet evenings in and the perfect spot for dining.
The long kitchen at the rear connects smoothly to the conservatory and garden. It features two built-in storage cupboards, slate-style flooring, white metro tiling and wooden worktops that add warmth and texture. A window draws in the light, and the layout opens towards the outdoors, enhancing the sense of space. The conservatory is bright and airy, with full-height glazing and double doors offering a delightful link to the garden beyond. This outdoor space combines decking and gravel for low-maintenance ease, with established planting softening the borders and trellis-topped fencing ensuring privacy. A ground floor WC provides added convenience for guests.
Upstairs, the main bedroom is generously sized, with twin windows, soft carpeting and an original fireplace adding character. The second bedroom, also bright, features built-in shelving and a large window overlooking the garden. The bathroom completes the picture, with wood-effect flooring, soft green tiling, a clawfoot bath and walk-in shower creating a wonderfully restful retreat.
The surrounding area offers a lovely balance of green spaces, community facilities and welcoming places to eat and drink. Epping Forest is close at hand, offering endless trails through ancient woodland for walking, cycling or simply enjoying the fresh air. Ridgeway Park provides further outdoor space, with open fields, play areas and sports facilities. The Kings Head and The Royal Forest are within easy walking distance, ideal for a relaxed meal or drink. Families will appreciate the local schools, with Normanhurst Primary and Whitehall Primary both nearby. Altogether, this is a location that blends natural beauty with convenience.

A word from the owner...
This has been a wonderful first home for us to grow our family.
We've put a lot of love into the property, carefully restoring a lot of the original Victorian features, whilst blending in more modern colourways throughout.
With Epping Forest only a 10 minute walk away, we often go for long weekend walks with our young daughter, stopping off for a babycino or two in the local cafes on our way home.
There have also been some great additions to the high street recently (by famous chefs!) if you fancy dinner and a cocktail in the evenings.
Our neighbours on Stanley Road have all been really friendly and welcoming. Most of them have lived on the street for years so you really get a great sense of community. We hope this house brings you as many great memories as it has for us!
