Owners Insight
"Marine Palms has provided us with a wonderful coastal retreat to get away from the pressures of work and enjoy quality time as a family down in Devon. We viewed many potential properties on our search, and knew within what felt like seconds after walking through the door, into the main room, and out onto the terrace and saw the expanse of sea in front of us that there was no other apartment in comparison. Facing south westerly, the terrace is bathed in sunshine, and we have been privileged to enjoy many amazing sunsets.
We were also drawn to the convenient position, and once the car is safely parked, everything you need is on the doorstep. It has been an emotional decision to sell, but take with us countless cherished memories."
Step Inside
From the secure communal entrance lift and stair approach leads down one floor to a solid oak entrance door. The welcoming split level reception hall has oak flooring which runs throughout the apartment, and cupboard housing the pressurised cylinder and boiler. A glazed door leads to open plan reception, providing an immediate impression. The beautiful kitchen has French grey shaker style units topped with slim profile polished black granite incorporating a breakfast bar, ceramic sink, carved drainer, and Quooker hot water mixer tap. Provisions for dual fuel range cooker and American style fridge/freezer. Integrated washer/dryer, dishwasher, and wine cooler. LED mood lighting, and south easterly natural light. The sitting/dining area has a warming gas fire in a log burner design, and the main focal point being the full width double glazed French doors with matching side windows drawing you out onto to the extensive paved terracing.
Bedrooms & Bathroom
The principal bedroom is a sanctuary, subtly divided into two areas with the dressing space comprising comprehensive wardrobes and recess for seating or dressing table. Wide double glazed French doors with matching side screen and arched top lights link the lower private terrace. The primary bedroom is completed with a contemporary en-suite of curved shower with rain head and body jets, basin, WC, full tiling, and chrome heated towel rail. Bedroom 2 is a double room fitted with a double wardrobe. The family bathroom provides a space to relax in the double ended bath where you can even watch the fitted TV, whilst also benefitting from a curved double shower with rain head and body jets. The bathroom has been fully tiled, and enjoys natural light.
Step Outside
Extensive paved terracing with the main area having walled and brushed steel railings and enjoys outstanding sea views with Torre Abbey in the foreground to the wider Tor Bay taking in Corbyn Head, Paignton Pier and around to Brixham's Berry Head. There is a slight raised composite deck with illuminated mood lighting and outside power points. Steps link the lower terrace outside the primary bedroom, providing a further generous space for relaxation or entertainment. Returning to the main terrace, steps leads down toward the communal gardens, with our clients benefitting from use of a garden store.
