Comment From Robert Reed Of Gascoigne Halman
I have been selling houses in the area since 2004 and as a result, have a good knowledge of the towns and villages of this lovely part of Cheshire. Every time I go round the Tilston Garden Trail, an event which takes place every couple of years, it showcases what a glorious village this is. Pretty and quaint, yet with a range of amenities that include shop, church, school, community centre and pub restaurant this is an exceptional area in which to live.
The present owners have been in the house for just under three years and are now relocating to a different part of Cheshire to be closer to family. In their time in the property they have invested heavily into the home and the new owners will get the benefit of all this capital expenditure and considerable time, care and thought put into the changes made. These include new kitchen, new bathroom, new Clearview UPVC windows and doors throughout, complete redecoration, extensive reflooring, minor layout changes and a new range installed in the dining room. It is, accordingly, a great home to come in and enjoy straight away.
The house is an appealing cottage with a range of lovely features that include two fireplaces and an inviting and cosy atmosphere. There are also well proportioned rooms, with the living room and principal bedroom being particularly impressive and there also being an appealing newly installed breakfast kitchen and a large landing with space for study area if required. Subject to planning permission, there is also considerable scope to extend.
