A spacious contemporary residence in a unique location, offering stunning, panoramic coastal views
Description
Tucked away along a gated track through the South Downs National Park, on the Edge of Eastbourne and the 'favoured' Meads Village, the property represents an almost perfect coastal retreat, offering stunning views and seclusion, yet offering easy access out to the amenities in Meads Village, as well as Eastbourne town and seafront, while also greatly benefitting from the joys of the protected South Downs National Park, literally on the doorstep.
The accommodation is well presented throughout, themed in a minimalist, open-plan style, designed to maximise the views and the feeling of space, enhanced by the southerly light.
The four to five bedrooms are well served by four en suite bathroom/shower rooms and as well as the main kitchen, there are also two kitchenettes, making the house work well for visiting guests.
Features of particular note are the 31 ft sitting room, with its triple aspect and covered balcony, perhaps 'the ultimate room with a view' and the principal bedroom to the first floor, which enjoys the highest view out over the sea. Also, the stylish main kitchen, which is open-plan to this room, with granite worktops, tiled splash backs, incorporating an inset Barazza gas hob, complemented with a built-in Neff oven.
Outside, the landscaped rear garden is a very special feature, designed with pathways and terracing, to catch the sun and the views, including all the way down to Eastbourne seafront and Pier. The lawn here is supplemented by a variety of mature planting, hedging and trees and there is a beautifully planted rockery and pond, formed from the original swimming pool.
