Vendor comment: We love living in our house and neighbourhood, which offers the perfect blend of city convenience and community charm. Despite being in the heart of the city, our neighbourhood is very quiet, as there is no through road and it is surrounded by green spaces. Being just 5-minutes’ walk from both the bustling harbour area and picturesque Clifton Village with its eclectic independent shops, and around 20-minutes’ walk from the town centre or the large green expanse of Ashton Court, means we have been able to enjoy all the amazing things that Bristol has to offer. We have lived here for over a decade, updating parts of the house, such as with new wooden herringbone floors and a Roger Oates stair runner, while also doing more major work such as the loft conversion to create a large bedroom and en-suite. At times, we have rented out the loft room to lodgers, which has been a useful extra source of revenue.
Our road is always easy to park on, and it is a short 10-minute drive to the M5 and a 20-minute drive to the airport. We love hosting family and friends in the courtyard garden, which is a nice sunny spot in summer, due to being south-west facing. This has been a lovely house to bring up our children and is walking distance to their school – Christ Church School in Clifton Village, which was awarded an Ofsted Outstanding rating last year. We will miss our lovely home with all its happy memories and our friendly community, where many neighbours have become great friends. We hope you will enjoy this home as much as we have!
