Keeping things local, both Francis Road and Leyton High Road are around a half mile away on foot. Between them, these local landmarks are home to a generous range of cafes, bars, restaurants and gastropubs. Try Yardarm on Francis Road, and the Leyton Engineer on the High Road.
Or, explore under the arches at Leyton Midland Road station for Gravity Well Taproom and Burnt Smokehouse. Well worth a visit even if you're not getting on a train.
Finally, current or prospective parents will be pleased to find twenty five primary and secondary schools all less than a mile away on foot. Riverly, Willowbrook and Newport Primaries are all especially close and all received a rating of 'Outstanding' at their last Ofsted inspection.
