About this property

" We have lived on Lampton Road for 7 years now and have really enjoyed being part of this wonderfully warm and welcoming community. We felt so privileged to have a lovely house to make our home and to have the beautiful North Somerset countryside on our doorstep, while being close enough to North Street in Bristol to enjoy the shops and cafes. More recently we have welcomed our first child into the family, and he has really enjoyed playing at the local community centre playground and in the woods at the end of our road. We have made so many friends locally and enjoy going for brunch at our lovely local café, The Old Library. We’ve felt it’s the perfect place for being close to the countryside, whilst not too far from Bristol, with local buses and the cycle paths providing good connections to the city. "

Lampton Road is situated centrally in one of most popular housing developments in Long Ashton. The shops and amenities on Lovelinch Gardens and along Weston Road are just a short walk away, including a small supermarket (Co-op), barbers, post office and gp practice. The heart of this village is also home to the popular Birdwell Primary School, rated good from Ofsted and less than 5 minutes walk. The village is well-regarded by its residents for having its own community and green spaces, yet just being a mile or so from Bristol and just a ten minute drive from the City Centre and Harbourside area, with regular buses and pleasant cycle routes through Ashton Court into the City. Within the village itself there are several pubs with a good reputation for their food and atmosphere, whilst independent shops such as the Gatcombe Farm Shop and The Little Tipple sell locally produced food and drink. Long Ashton’s huge popularity comes from its proximity to Bristol yet the proud independence it has as a North Somerset village, with a unique rural feel just outside some of the most exciting parts of the city of Bristol.

A semi detached house with off street parking on Lampton Road. The entrance hall leads to a living room at the front of the house and a large storage area to the right. The rear of the house has a lovely open plan kitchen/dining room with plenty of kitchen units and views over the rear garden. Upstairs are three bedrooms and a family bathroom with separate WC. The house also benefits from a private rear garden with a good sized lawn and gravel area for al fresco dining. There is also a storage shed to the side.
