We have spent 19 very happy years in Bedford Close.

We moved to Bedford Close from Bissley Drive, a move driven by our desire to have a bigger property to raise our family, but also enabling us to remain on the Lowbrook Estate, of which we had become so fond.

The location of the house was perfect, only a 2 minute walk from Lowbrook Academy, 5 minutes to the convenience shops at Wessex Way and at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac where there is no passing footfall. The 4 houses in the cul-de-sac are like a community within a community, with all of the neighbours always willing to help when needed ( putting bins out, watering plants when on holiday etc) as well as generally keeping an eye on the property when we were out or away.

During our time here we have renewed all of the external doors ( front door, side door and patio doors ), replaced the soffits and facias and also refitted and upgraded the bathroom including fitting a new pier shower and hot water tank. We have also redecorated throughout on multiple occasions and within the last 15 months had a power flush of the central heating system.

We have decided the time is now right for us to move out of the area to be closer to our children who have both married and moved to Oxfordshire which will also mean we can see more of our first grandchild who has recently arrived. We hope that the new owners of Bedford Close will enjoy the happiness and relaxation that we have found here.
