A Word From The Owner -

We bought this home when we started our family, knowing we wanted more space — especially a garden where the kids could play. From day one, Cary Road felt like home. It’s clean, safe, and has a real community spirit, with fantastic transport links and green spaces nearby. We’ve spent six wonderful years here and would be staying longer if we weren’t relocating to New Zealand. What makes this place so special is the street itself — we know all our neighbours by name, and it truly feels like a community. The location couldn’t be better: Just 10 minutes from the Elizabeth Line at Maryland Station, 5 minutes from Wanstead Flats, and with Epping Forest easily accessible. Jenny Hammond Primary School is just 100 metres away, and it’s been an incredible school for our children. Over the years, the area has only got better — with brilliant local pubs like The Leytonstone Tavern and The Red Lion, independent gems like Joyau wine bar and Wild Goose Bakery, and unbeatable food spots like Homies on Donkeys. The Continental Food Exchange has become our go-to shop, and with Stratford, Hackney Wick and Wanstead Village all just 10 minutes away, it’s a fantastic hub for nature, nightlife and culture. We’ve truly loved living here — it’s a vibrant, welcoming place with everything you could need close by.
