What the owner says.
“23 is a cosy, yet surprisingly spacious bungalow. Our favourite part of the house is the open plan living / dining room. You get the sun in the dining room in the morning and in the living room during the afternoon, so the entire room is always light throughout the day. The bungalow is quick to heat up in the winter, and stays warm; however, it's cool and comfortable during hot weather.
It's always pleasant to view the garden from the living room window; throughout the year there are visits from birds, squirrels and occasionally a fox. As the garden faces South, that makes it perfect for sitting outside in the summer, and maximises daylight in the winter. It's also private: Not directly overlooked, there's a wall on one side and a relatively new storm-proof fence the other. The neighbours are friendly, without being overbearing.
Secure and solid, the garage has been really useful for storage and as a well-appointed workshop for railway modelling! The street is very quiet, which has been really helpful when working at home. Equidistant between Poole and Bournemouth, the location makes it easy to go to either town for work, errands, shopping or leisure activities.
We're leaving a much loved family home to move closer to older relatives.”
Where it is.
Branksome is an extremely popular location mainly due to the train station with direct routes to Waterloo, London making it a great spot for commuters. This property is in fantastic school catchment and a 5 minute walk to the nature reserve. Coy Pond gardens which is a lovely walk leading straight to Bournemouth and in turn, the award-winning beach taking approx 30 minutes or better still a 15-minute cycle. You can walk to local schools too. Both Bournemouth & Poole town centres are both within easy reach.
