Owners comments...
Our property is nestled at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac on a generous plot and has a lovely setting.
We knew Alder Drive was the property for us when we were looking to buy a property to let out in 2013 as we were very familiar with the area through our upbringing and we wanted a property where we would live ourselves. We have let the property out only twice in the 12 years we have owned it - to two young families we knew through personal connections. Both families very much made it their home and were very happy living here.
We love it that all rooms, including both double bedrooms are spacious and filled with natural light. The kitchen and back bedroom overlook a very attractive back garden that has a large lush lawn, a large patio area, trees, shrubs, bushes and an apple tree. It’s perfect for al fresco dining, entertaining guests or simply relaxing. The back garden also backs onto privately owned green space making it a delightful and peaceful hidden retreat. The lounge and 2nd bedroom overlook the front garden that also has a high degree of privacy with natural screening from trees and bushes.
The property has been very well looked after, has recently been re-decorated throughout and is in immaculate condition inside and out.
Area comments...
Alder Drive is located off Firs Road at the top of Langley Hill. It’s an ideal location, with easy access to Tilehurst village triangle, which has a range of local shops and cafes. The 17 bus stop is a two minute walk which gives you access to Reading town centre, as well as the M4 being just a few minutes drive away. There is lots of open green space close by, with Calcot Recreation ground and Sulham Woods.
Ryan & Sanjay comments...
This brilliant maisonette has so many good features. In the Owners Comments above, lots of them have already been mentioned. Some of the biggest advantages we see for this property are it's millennium lease, no onward chain and the completely private gardens. The property is turn key ready, so ideal for a first time buyer or investor.
