The Perfect Family Home?
Owners Comments...
Nestled in a lovely neighbourhood cul-de-sac, this house was truly the place, where we lived for ten years and created wonderful memories to cherish forever. Our two kids transitioned from primary to secondary school from this house. Its vicinity to the primary school and preschool (within very close walking distance), local amenities like the Asda with many other shops under its roof, surgery, library and not to forget the park, which was a favourite playing spot for our kids, had made this house a desirable home for a family like ours. As they grew, the nearby 21 bus stop provided them an easy route to Kendrick and Reading school for boys (Grammar schools), as well as to the town centre and Reading station.
The house has plenty of light and is very airy. The back garden was a fantastic play area for the children to enjoy the space outside and where we had many summer parties with our friends and family. The conservatory was like an extension of our huge lounge, opening into the garden. The study was a brilliant home office, and the utility room provided a separate place for laundry and storage.
We hope that the new owner will enjoy the house immensely, and it will make them as happy as it made us.
Dan & Neil Estate Agents’ comments...
This is a fantastic four bedroom detached family home in such a popular location within Lower Earley and it comes with no onward chain, so you can get moving quickly!
Downstairs, there’s a dining room at the front for those family meals, a big lounge at the back that opens into a conservatory overlooking your lovely private garden. On the other side, you’ve got the kitchen, a handy utility space, and a bonus study/home office tucked just off the double garage – ideal for working from home! Upstairs, there are four good-sized bedrooms, with the main bedroom featuring an en suite, plus a family bathroom.
It’s a versatile home with lots of space to work with and plenty of potential to add your own stamp so get in touch to take a look!
Area Comments...
This area is incredibly popular with young and growing families, and it’s easy to see why. The home sits at the head of a quiet cul-de-sac, with a handy cut-through at the end of the road leading to Asda and the Chalfont shopping complex which is super handy. There’s a great selection of schools nearby, plus plenty of local amenities, including Loddon Valley Leisure Centre just up the road.
You’ll also love the access to green spaces and plenty of foot and cycle paths not far away. For commuters, there are public transport links into Reading, and you’re well placed for easy access to the A329(M), M4, and routes into London.
