Hitchin is a small marketing in the North Hertfordshire District of Hertfordshire, England.

Hitchin railway station is on the Great Northern Line, to which the Cambridge Line connects just north of the station. There are direct connections to London, Stevenage, Peterborough, and Cambridge.
