About this property
" There is such a strong welcoming community here, which has been so nice having lived out of the city for several years. Perrett's Park at the end of the road is a real highlight and has some of the best views of the city. It's a lovely quiet street, but it also has some great bars/pubs on Wells Road with the city centre and Bristol Temple Meads being very easily accessible. This was our first home together, so it will always be a special place for us, and i'm sure the next owners will love living here as much as we have. "
The position of the flat on the impressive Haverstock Road, provides a fantastic setting, just metres from the bowl-shaped Perretts Park and its fantastic cityscape views. Haverstock is a quiet road of substantial and attractive period homes. The road is flanked on one end by Perretts Park, at the other there is the rapidly developing Wells Road, home to several popular independent shops and eateries, such as Fox and West Deli, Bank, Acapella and Southside Bar, with its indoor and outdoor seating and serving local craft beers. Knowle is an extremely popular family area, with a brilliant combination of large houses, good schools and a choice of great parks. Hillcrest Primary School is just a short walk away and is very well-regarded. Haverstock Road is also close to Arnos Vale Cemetery, Perrett Park and Victoria Park, all offering a great escape from the city and open green spaces. For commuters, the area is very well placed, with Temple Meads and the several major employers around Temple Quay just around fifteen minutes away on foot, even close by bike or Voi. Bristol’s scenic harbourside and city centre are also within walking distance, along with the independent shops, bars and cafes of North Street in Bedminster, whilst also being a short drive from the beautiful Mendips and Chew Valley to the south.
A two bedroom maisonette split over the top two floors of this pretty period house in Knowle. The property is accessed by a communal front door and then its own private entrance within the communal hallway. There is a large living room at the front of the property with wooden floors, period fireplace and bay window flooding the room with plenty of light. The kitchen is at the rear of the property with plenty of units and space for a breakfast table. There is also a double bedroom on this floor and the bathroom. The loft space has been converted into a gorgeous double bedroom with eaves space for hanging and storage.
