Owners Comments...
Looking for a new home can be a challenge—but the moment we stepped into the garden at the end of Tithe Lane and saw the lake view, we knew it was the one.
Originally a milk barn (some neighbours still have the old milk bottles!), we transformed it into a warm and welcoming family home in 2004. The lake has always been the heart of it—alive with ducks, swans, geese, even deer, and the soothing sounds of nature. Sunrises and sunsets here are breathtaking in every season. We rebuilt the property with comfort and practicality in mind: Wide doorways for accessibility, underfloor heating throughout, a wood burner for winter nights, built-in hoover system, heat exchanger for clean air, and a megaflow boiler for high water pressure. The kitchen features a Wolf oven, just like Chef James Martin’s, and a dishwasher for ease. Wraysbury village is just down the road, offering a charming High Street with essentials—Post Office, Pharmacy, Co-Op, salons, café, school, and weekend cricket on the Green. The Summer Fair is a village highlight. For travel and shopping, Staines' Three Rivers Centre, Wraysbury Station (direct to Waterloo and Windsor), Heathrow Airport, the M25 and M4 are all within easy reach. But the best part? The peace and privacy once the gates close behind you and the lake view welcomes you home.
James The Agents Comments...
Nestled at the end of a private lane behind secure electric gates, Tithe Lane is a truly unique opportunity to secure a beautifully presented three-bedroom, three-bathroom detached bungalow with spectacular lake views, expansive wrap-around gardens, and an auxiliary two-bedroom annexe, offering incredible versatility and peace in the picturesque village of Wraysbury.
The main residence opens into a spacious entrance hallway with a welcoming country feel. At the heart of the home is an impressive open-plan lounge and dining area, complete with a log-burning fireplace, vaulted ceiling with exposed beams, and panoramic views across the lake and gardens — giving the property a true countryside retreat feel.
The traditional-style kitchen features a large central island, direct access to the patio, and garden views — perfect for both entertaining and everyday living. The principal bedroom includes a walk-in wardrobe and modern en-suite, with further lake views. A second double bedroom also benefits from an en-suite, while the third is generously sized and serviced by a stylish family bathroom.
What sets this home apart is the separate two-bedroom annexe, ideal for extended family or homeworking. It includes a light-filled games room, shower room, and two huge bedrooms, each with serene outlooks over the grounds. The gardens wrap around the property to enjoy the sun at all times of day. A gated lean-to offers additional storage, and the large gravel driveway comfortably accommodates multiple vehicles.
