Fabulous Three Bedroom Ground Floor Apartment For Sale In Wanstead

A stunning three bedroom apartment for sale in the popular area of Wanstead. With fantastic stylish touches and high-quality fixtures and fittings, this spacious apartment is turn-key ready throughout, and is situated less than a ten-minute walk from Wanstead High Street and the local tube station.

Shared with just five other properties, this ground floor apartment sits in lovely communal gardens and also offers allocated parking and a secure bike store. Wide tree-lined streets lead to open green spaces, great local amenities and fantastic transport links, making this area a real gem.

The attractive entrance features a pair of beautiful timber doors which take you into a well-maintained communal hallway. The property ́s own entrance hall is surprisingly spacious and features a useful built-in storage cupboard, plus high-quality hardwood flooring with zoned under-floor heating, which continues throughout the property.

The stylish reception offers the space for distinct kitchen, dining and lounge areas, all unified by a yellow feature wall. The designer kitchen units are finished in a high-gloss lacquered horizontal walnut pattern, coupled with contrasting solid surface worktops. There’s an island with an inset hob and feature extractor, integrated appliances and a large window looking out to the communal gardens.

The dining area has space for a large table, and the dual aspect lounge area has wide south-west facing French windows, with attractive full-height plantation blinds. Outside, the covered balcony benefits from daytime and evening sunshine, with a low fence providing a sense of privacy without spoiling the views of the lovely gardens.

The fully tiled family bathroom has a large walk-in shower with glazed screen, bespoke vanity unit with inset basin and WC with hidden cistern – which is cleverly integrated into the vanity unit. There ́s space for free-standing storage, and a full width mirror above the vanity unit completes the ‘boutique hotel’ feel.

Bedrooms two and three are both generously proportioned, and overlook the communal gardens to the side of the building. Flooring in the bedrooms is a light oatmeal carpet providing a warm, welcoming feel, and decoration is bright and modern.

Bedroom one - which also looks out to the garden area - includes a striking set of full-width burgundy built-in wardrobes, complemented by a feature wall finished in a matching shade. There ́s plenty of room for a double bed, and your choice of storage furniture, and there ́s an en-suite with similar layout and fixtures to the main bathroom.

Given its proximity to some exceptional amenities, this area of Wanstead is highly sought-after. Wanstead High Street offers an array of independent businesses - from florists to fish mongers and everything in between - and there are many bars, cafes and restaurants to choose from, including the Filika Greek restaurant, Piccolo Italian, Bobo & Wild and the must wine bar. Wanstead Central Line underground station is less than a ten-minute walk and the A12 and North Circular are close by. The wonderful Wanstead Park and Wanstead Flats provide green spaces and there are sports facilities just a couple of minutes away at Nutter Field and Eton Manor.

What the seller says
We purchased this property in 2012 due to very good transportation link both road and tube. The high street is vibrant with high quality restaurants, coffee shops and pubs having a village feel. Neighbours in our block and on the High Cedar are very friendly, and we have loved living here and while we are sad to go, we have started spending more time in Norfolk and decided now is the time to look at retirement, this will be a chain free sale.
