Location and Transport
Tonbridge House is a classic red brick mansion block set in the heart of Bloomsbury. Tonbridge Street is supremely well positioned for access to King's Cross and Bloomsbury as well as the renowned eateries and bars of Exmouth Market and Upper Street. The most prestigious shopping streets, hotels and cultural landmarks are within a short stroll. There is easy access to the open space of Granary Square and Coal Drops Yard shopping centre, ucl and to many other universities. London's International Airports are easily accessible through the Underground and Mainline Station network at King's Cross and the Eurostar link at St Pancras further enhances the area's connectivity, reinforcing its stature as a vibrant and bustling slice of London life.
'What the Owner Says'
The location is obviously fantastic being walking distance to almost everything in Central London. Yet, the neighbourhood also has a very special intimacy and a real local village feel which is incredibly rare in such a big city not to mention fantastic amenities, shopping and transport links. The flat has a communal heating system and is especially cosy and warm during the winter. Conversely in the summer I have been able to enjoy the breezy airiness of the flat; being on second floor, with windows left open in the knowledge that the flat is always very secure. It has been such a great home for over 20 years. I will miss the energy and vibe of the flat and especially the beautiful sounds of life and living from the streets below.
