Owners' Insight

"We have loved living in 1 Sunnyhill for seventeen years. The apartment covers the whole of the ground floor of this lovely Victorian mansion. When we first walked through the door we were immediately captivated by the gracious rooms and the South facing setting surrounded by lovely grounds and a sea view. We have all the benefits of beautiful, spacious, elegant rooms with no stairs, together with one lovely private terrace where we enjoy al fresco dining and delightful birdsong and a smaller balcony that benefits from late evening sun. Our apartment is close to the excellent shopping street of Wellswood with its variety of shops and restaurants.

We are very sad to be leaving our lovely home, but age dictates that we need to be near our close family who live in Cardiff."

Step Inside

Stepping through the private entrance door into the vestibule you are drawn through to the beautiful reception hall with exquisite ceiling plasterwork. The principal rooms are all South facing overlooking the communal gardens. The kitchen/dining room provide a space of elegance and functionality, linked to the drawing room via connecting doors which can be opened wide for exceptional space when entertaining. The kitchen has an abundance of storage within the solid wood units and central island, topped with granite and sink facing the view. The kitchen includes a Range Master with gas hobs and double electric oven, an integrated fridge/freezer. Dishwasher and Gas boiler. The drawing room is a truly striking room, with South facing bay, direct access to the extensive private terrace and balcony via French doors, perfect spots for a coffee overlooking the gardens toward Tor Bay beyond. The fireplace features sculpted figureheads which complement the ornate cornice and ceiling rose.
