Owners Insights:

What do you love about your home?

One of the things we’ve always loved about this home is the space. The extra reception room has been perfect for hosting family and friends, and in the warmer months, we’ve opened it up to the garden for barbecues and relaxed afternoons. The two double bedrooms have given us the flexibility to have both a guest room and a home office, which has been a real bonus. Being at the end of a cul-de-sac, it’s incredibly peaceful—just the sound of birdsong, including our resident woodpecker, which has been a lovely part of our mornings.

Why are you moving?

After 25 wonderful years here, we’re moving to the countryside as we ease into retirement. It feels like the right time to slow down and enjoy a quieter pace of life, but we’ll always have fond memories of this home and the community around it.

What do you love about the area?

Seaforth Crescent has been an amazing place to live. We’ve been spoiled with easy access to Clissold Park and Highbury Fields—two of North London’s best parks. Whether it’s a morning jog, a picnic by the lake, or just a leisurely stroll, having these green spaces nearby has been a huge part of our daily lives. The transport connections here are brilliant. Canonbury Station is just a short walk away, making it easy to get across London. There are also plenty of bus routes along Highbury Grove, St. Paul’s Road, and Newington Green Road, making getting around effortless. We’ve always loved being so close to Newington Green and Upper Street—it’s got everything from independent cafés and boutique shops to fantastic restaurants, comedy clubs, and live music venues. Whether we wanted a laid-back brunch or a fun night out, there was always something going on.
