Description
Built in the early 1980s, High Beeches sits in an elevated position overlooking the village below and with far reaching views across the valley. The property has been beautifully updated by the current owners resulting in a stylish 4 bedroom detached house on the edge of this sought-after north Cotswold village only a few miles from the village of Broadway. From the light and colourful entrance hall with partly panelled walls there is a generous sitting room, triple aspect with wood burner and Cotswold stone surround. Designer wall covers have been used throughout the property and there is a fabulous open plan kitchen/dining room with glazed doors leading out on to the terrace, central island and Everhot. Adjacent to the kitchen is a large utility and separate snug.
The main bedroom is double aspect and offers a wonderful ensuite bathroom and shower with glazed doors leading out onto the private balcony overlooking the garden and paddock. There are three further double bedrooms radiating from the landing and a separate family bathroom. The property also features state of the art surveillance and alarm systems/monitoring.
The property sits centrally within its plot and is approached over a tarmac drive with ample parking to the front and a three car garage to the side of the house. Adjoining the garaging is a gym and store room with further storage above with potential for conversion to ancillary accommodation. The front garden is bounded by a Cotswold stone wall and is mainly laid to lawn with some mature shrubs, a copse of mature beech trees and an outdoor seating area for entertaining. The rear garden enjoys a terrace, well-stocked borders, mature trees and a lawned area including a Scandinavian wood burning hot tub and Finish log cabin sauna available by separate negotiation. There is a second paddock beyond the rear garden currently housing the owner’s sheep which is available by separate negotiation. A particularly special aspect of the property are the sensational rural views from the rear garden and the views across the village to the front.
