Character, Charm & Commuter Convenience – Just Moments From Godalming High Street
'Sellers Comment'
"We have loved every moment in this house. Whether we’re Walking down to the high street on a Saturday morning for the farmers market or attending the Monday evening quiz in the local pub, it’s been a great community to join.
We bought this house originally for the social kitchen and the open downstairs living area, as I thought that would be a pipe dream for our budget but this really ticked all the boxes. As a family it’s been so nice to cook meals and have the kids at the breakfast island doing their homework many laughs have been had. The woods behind the house are lovely on a summers morning and my son adores the trains that pass his window, I think he will miss that the most.
The station is only around the corner as theres a cut through under the bridge so nights in theatre land in London were a doddle with the kids.
It’s been a great country home for us, a great street that we will miss."

"There’s so much to love about this home—from the character fireplaces, to the cosy living spaces and sociable kitchen. It strikes a rare balance between period charm and practical layout, and with the village and station just a short stroll away, the location is spot on. Whether you're starting out, upsizing or scaling back, this one has all the right ingredients."
Godalming Area Bio:
Set along the River Wey, Godalming is a thriving market town that blends historic charm with modern convenience. The town centre is packed with independent boutiques, coffee shops, pubs and eateries, as well as Waitrose and Sainsbury’s for day-to-day shopping.
For commuters, Godalming Station offers direct trains to London Waterloo in around 45 minutes, and the A3 is easily accessible for road links into Guildford, London, or down to the south coast. Families are drawn to the area for its excellent local schools, including Godalming College and several well-regarded primaries.
Green spaces are in abundance, from riverside walks and Lammas Lands to Winkworth Arboretum and the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just minutes away. There’s also a strong community vibe with sports clubs, leisure centres, and regular farmers’ markets and events in the town square.
Whether you’re after lifestyle, location or simply a home with heart, Godalming delivers it all.
