Comment From Robert Reed Of Gascoigne Halman
At the time of writing (May 2025) there are presently no houses for sale in Tarporley in the price range of £1,000,000 to £1,200,000. By definition this is therefore an exceptionally rare buying opportunity. It is also ideal for the purchaser who wishes to live in an individual house that is located up its own driveway and does not have any immediate neighbours.
This is clearly a house of considerable character and age yet unlike many houses like this era, there is a very high grade modern specification here. The property was acquired by the present owners in 2009 and the house was built back from bare shell to the building regulations of the day in 2010. As a result, the house has hard wood double glazed windows, modern electricals installations, mains wired fire alarms, an electrical car charging point (wired in) and a high standard of installation throughout.
More recent changes include the installation of an external oil boiler and a high pressure mains pressure water tank in the utility room which has a remote Hive thermostat controlled via your phone. All sheds have been individual built to a high standard all with Cheshire slate roofs. They all have power and there are water points alongside the drive, rear of house and behind the top shed.
Internally the house is an outstanding blend of traditional elegance combined with tasteful modern refinements and most crucially of all, a fantastic layout that has been meticulously thought through with family life in mind.
