What it’s got.
Sitting in the highly sought-after location of Whitecliff this 2-bedroom detached bungalow offers a harmonious blend of style, comfort, and convenience. As you step through the front door, you are greeted by a spacious interior that boasts two generously sized double bedrooms, perfect for creating a tranquil retreat. The property boasts two reception rooms that provide versatile living spaces suitable for both relaxation and entertaining. The well-appointed kitchen offers ample storage and workspace, ideal for cooking up culinary delights. A modern bathroom completes the interior, providing a sleek and contemporary feel to this charming property.
Stepping outside, the property continues to impress with its private south-facing garden, bathed in sunlight throughout the day and evening, creating the perfect spot for outdoor dining or relaxing in the tranquillity of your own space. The driveway offers off street parking for several vehicles comfortably (able to accommodate a boat or motorhome easily) and a sizeable shed for extra storage and outdoor equipment one uses often in Poole. The property benefits from being within the catchment area of the prestigious Lilliput & Baden Powell schools, making it an ideal choice for families seeking top-notch education.
The exciting part is whilst this is currently a wonderful living space for a couple or small family, there is the option of a modest rear extension that can turn this into a 4 bed / 1 bathroom or 3 bed / 2 bathroom property while maintaining a sizeable garden or creating a chalet style house, subject to the usual planning consents. Side access has been retained with this option in mind for cost effective expansion. The existing shed can be easily repurposed to a garden office.
What the owners say.
“The house has been a wonderful home. We have really loved the location - strolls from our doorstep to Whitecliff park and enjoying the fantastic playground, admiring the harbour and the Purbecks at dawn or sunset, nipping down to the local surf café Coast to meet friends for brunch or dropping into the local butcher in preparation for hosting garden barbecues in the long evenings, after days spent at Sandbanks beach.
We also love the cottage character of the bungalow. The aspect of the house with a large south-west facing garden has been amazing; it’s great for hosting friends and family on sunny days and the kitchen and living room get so much light. The expansive off street parking has been super handy for visitors and a home to our campervan where we stage adventures from.”
Where it is.
The convenience of being just a short 5 minute walk away from the harbourside means that you can enjoy all the leisure activities and amenities that living by the water offers plus the schools and Ashley Cross can be walked to. The award winning beaches of Sandbanks are in easy reach either by car or cycling. Parkstone train station offers direct routes to Waterloo, London and can be walked to within 10 minutes. Poole Park & the town centre are also nearby.
