The Property
The property is accessed from Stone Drive, where parking is available in front of the generous double garage. The main door, to the side of the house, opens into a brightly lit entrance hall, via a partly glazed door, with side light. The hall gives internal access to the utility room and double garage and has space for coats under the stairs that rise to the main accommodation on the upper ground floor.
At the top of the stairs, the doors to the front and left lead into the L-shaped living area, with bedrooms and bathrooms to the right. The kitchen-diner, with west-facing windows to the decked outdoor area, also opens into to the south-facing sitting room with fantastic, cantilevered bay window drawing in light from three sides.
The fitted kitchen, with peninsula, has cream-coloured base units and drawers with woodblock work surfaces, stainless steel one-and-a-half sink with drainer and mixer tap, cream-coloured tiled splashbacks, Zanussi electric over, Neff induction hob with extractor over, space for a tall fridge-freezer, and a tall radiator. The wood-effect laminate flooring continues into the dining area where French doors open out to the deck in the main garden. The sitting room within this L-shaped space has an original open fireplace with hearth, and a verdant outlook from the large windows, encompassing mature trees and a view along the southern ridges of the Malvern Hills.
The main bedroom has floor to ceiling windows to the west, overlooking the side garden, and an en-suite shower room with corner cubicle, wc, bidet, pedestal basin and heated towel rail.
The second bedroom, another generous double bedroom, has floor to ceiling windows to the north elevation, over the rear garden.
The third bedroom features high level storage over space for a single bed, and has a view to the smaller section of garden to the east.
The fourth bedroom, with a window to the east, is currently used as a study.
The family bathroom has a corner bath with mixer tap and shower attachment, wc, pedestal basin, heated towel rail, travertine-style ceramic tiles to walls and floor and a high-level window for privacy.
Returning to the lower ground floor, the utility room has a ceramic sink and drainer, space and plumbing for a washing machine, further shelving for laundry and general storage and a circular window for natural light.
The garage, accessed from the utility room, is a double garage with a remote-controlled up-and-over door, concrete floor, strip lighting and fitted shelving. The main door opens onto the driveway and parking area and an electric charge point for vehicles is on the external wall.
Outside
The main garden is at the rear of the property, with a path around the level lawn, mature trees and bamboos for privacy, a good-sized aluminium-framed greenhouse and a small pond. A wooden gate opens to the side garden on the east side of the house, which has a vegetable garden and a wooden shed.
To the west side, the lawn leads to the large wooden deck with wooden balustrades, which makes a wonderful outdoor area for entertaining with views towards the southern reaches of the Malvern Hills. A gate at the edge of the decking leads down to a small, secluded area of garden adjacent to the driveway and parking area.
