Sellers' comments:
We purchased this home 6 years ago and it has been our safe haven throughout those years. We have celebrated many milestones here, the biggest being welcoming our son this January which has led us to look for a house with more space to accommodate our growing family. We will miss this house immensely - during the lockdowns we discovered all of the beautiful, quiet walks which are right on our doorstep and the proximity to the M4 and local amenities has made living here easy. The location of this house means you have all the perks of living in a small village - such as the weekend markets at the local village hall - but you can also be in central Reading in 10 minutes. The coach house is quiet and private and having 2 bathrooms is a real plus - we will definitely miss the luxury of having an ensuite . The area is calm, quiet and friendly and is one of the many reasons we have decided to stay living in this area.
Area comments:
Three Mile Cross is such a great place to live as it gives you choice. As the village is super quiet and within walking distance to scenic walks and pubs, you can find yourself living that "country lifestyle" which we all crave. However, the village is a short drive away from Reading, Wokingham and Basingstoke centres so you will not be short of things to do! The M4 is only a two- or three-minute drive away from the property, too.
Adam and Dan's (estate agents) comments:
As this home is a coach house, you benefit from having no neighbours above or below you as well as having your own private entrance through your own front door which sets this apart from apartments. You will have the luxury of two allocated parking spaces which are both numbered which is a real plus. The open-plan kitchen-living space is a real haven. It is dual-aspect so gets loads of natural light throughout the day and is fitted with modern appliances. Both of the bedrooms are doubles with the master bedroom coming with both an en-suite (with a window) and built in wardrobes. The guest bedroom has an alcove which lends itself well to be utilised as an office space. The family bathroom has been really well looked after by the sellers. It is immaculate! Other perks are a high EPC rating (B), low service charges and a loft which can be used for storage. This home is really special so we recommend you come and take a look!
