Welcome to first time buyer's paradise, this immaculately presented, two double bedroom mews is ready for the next owner to move in and enjoy - it's not just the house either, Northenden really has become the hotspot for buyer's flocking to the South Manchester.

Built just after the millennium, these beautiful crafted homes sit on Govan Street in the heart of Northenden Village. Being a quiet cul-de-sac this road is always popular with a range of buyers. Located in the Northenden Conservation Area, you get the best of both worlds by being placed a short stroll from the bustling high street but an even shorter walk to the park for the kids or a stroll down the Mersey for the dogs. Northenden has evolved in recent years from being the cheaper alternative to Didsbury or Sale to being the hotspot for buyer's locally looking to delve in the character of the Village. Nowhere is this reflected better than the high street which now has a strong mix of independent restaurants like Oh My Pho and Jai Kathmandu, cafes like Boxx2Boxx, pubs and bars like Northenden Untapped and Lounge About as well as a array of shops. These all sit nicely amongst the chains like Tesco, Costa and Greene King pubs. If green spaces are more your thing as mentioned you can find idyllic strolls along the River Mersey towards East or West Didsbury, or even through the village towards St Wilfrid's Church. There are also several parks locally and the transport links are another huge reason for people flocking to the area with easy access into Manchester Airport, the universities and Media City. Further afield Didsbury is a short taxi ride away if you're looking to go for a night out there similarly Sale with it's new Cinema or Chorlton with it's unique Highstreet are a very short commute away.

Back to the star of the show though, this home really is a box ticker for a range of buyers, expect interest from first time buyers, downsizers, young couples, commuters, investors and more. With modern living at the centre of the design, the space offers a great mix of natural light and functional space in each room.

The front door is accessed via the driveway to the front and opens into a hallway space. The hall has space for coats and shoes while being open to the living room but before we go through there you've got the kitchen behind a door to your left. This is a thoroughly modern kitchen space with a large bay window to the front, this room is the first indication of the high level of finish throughout the rest of the property. Back into the hallway and int the living room, the large open space is currently used to fit a generous corner sofa, TV, keyboard and dining table as well as a handy storage cupboard under the stairs! The space is versatile though and can be utilised in many different ways to suit you and your needs.

Upstairs the great proportions continue with two double bedrooms and a family bathroom. In fact the bedrooms are such a good size the principal bedroom can easily fit a super king size bed with space to spare. It is as immaculately decorated up here as downstairs which is perfect for those that simply want to move in and drop their bags. The vendors currently have a home office set up in the second bedroom alongside a double bed while the principal bedroom has space for a freestanding wardrobe and storage cupboard.

Last but not least the west facing garden is accessed via the double doors from the living room. With established borders, trees, and shrubbery alongside the lawn and patio this is calling out for you relax in the evening sun with a brew (or a beer!) after work.

With that, this property should tick all your boxes so if you're ready to book your viewing make sure to quote GY0737.

Vendor's favourite features: "We’ve really loved living here and it’s been a great step on the ladder for us. There’s a lovely community here, all the neighbours are so welcoming and always happy to help each other out when needed. It’s a lovely quiet Road given it’s a cul-de-sac and it’s brilliant being so close to the river for dog walks and for getting to Didsbury which is only a 25min stroll in either direction to West or East Didsbury. There are some great restaurants, takeaways (Pizzeria is on par with Rudy’s in my opinion!) and bars within Northenden itself so there are also great options on the doorstep as well. On a more practical point, this is the easiest home to heat i've ever lived in!"
