Why buy this home?
As you drive down this blossom-lined street reminiscent of those charming American movie scenes, you’ll immediately sense there’s something special about this home. The current owners have thoughtfully extended and modernised the property, transforming it into a spacious, stylish, and versatile family home.
Step inside and you’re greeted by a wide, welcoming hallway with oak flooring that continues to the living room and cloakroom, adding warmth and elegance. To your left, a front-facing study is currently used as a beauty room, but could easily become a playroom, office, or snug, whatever suits your lifestyle. Also in the hallway is a functional storage cupboard where you can hang your coats, hide those shoes. It is big enough to store your household essentials.
The main living room is bright, airy, and perfect for relaxing, thanks to large bi-fold doors that open onto the garden. A modern media wall, built-in storage with soft under lighting, and a feature fireplace with a log burner, a space that’s both stylish and cosy, ideal for quiet evenings or entertaining guests.
At the heart of this home is the stunning kitchen. With its central island, glossy dark grey units, Corian worktops, and integrated appliances, including a fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, and eye-level double oven. Perfect for both casual breakfasts and drinks around the island with friends. A cosy snug area just off the kitchen offers the perfect spot for reading or unwinding with a glass of wine, while two sets of bi-fold doors lead out to a patio, an ideal space for summer BBQs and alfresco dining.
The garden offers something for everyone: A lush lawn for the kids to play, multiple seating areas for enjoying nature, a generous patio for dining and entertaining, and even a raised deck at the back complete with a sauna, your own private retreat.
Just off the kitchen is a separate dining room, created from part of the former double garage, comfortably fitting a 10-seater table and sideboard. Beyond that is a spacious utility room that currently doubles as a home gym, with access to the side of the house and additional storage space at the front.
Upstairs, you'll find four well-proportioned bedrooms, all tastefully decorated and carpeted throughout. The master suite, situated at the rear, is a serene retreat featuring a dressing area and a fully tiled ensuite with a modern three-piece suite with a shower and chrome towel rail. The second bedroom is equally generous in size and also benefits from its ensuite, complete with walk in double shower. The third is another comfortable double room, currently used for guests, while the fourth is currently a study and would make an ideal child’s bedroom. The family bathroom is stylishly finished, featuring a p-shaped bath with overhead shower.
To the front, the driveway comfortably accommodates three to four vehicles, making this a practical and stylish forever home in a truly picturesque setting.
