Stone Court is an exceptional property which has been completely re-modelled by the current vendors, which we understand included the addition of insulation throughout ensuring superb energy efficiency. Boasting over 3,070 square feet (285 sq.m) of accommodation, the sizeable property is beautifully renovated and presented in such a way as to enhance its stunning characteristics, with large windows and elegant décor complementing the space and flowing ambience of the rooms. The home has been created for modern living... A place to relax, work and entertain family and friends.
Torquay's town, harbourside and yacht marina lie at the base of the hill from Stone Court, offering a hive of activity and boasting a wealth of water sports, waterside restaurants, bars, Princess Theatre, and wide range of shopping. Local amenities can be found at nearby Wellswood which retains a village feel, located just past the end of nearby Lower Warberry Road providing a parade of shops, restaurant, pub, St Matthias Church and Ilsham Primary School.

Owners Insight
"What first attracted us to Stone Court 7 years ago was the fabulous location, a stone’s throw from the harbour restaurants and Hoopers, together with the garden and the peaceful ambience of this backwater. Previously a dormer bungalow occupied by an elderly widower who had gardened it for 22 years. We could see the potential and set about redeveloping into an “Art deco” style house with an exceptional flow and occupier friendly design, enlisting the help of Adam Frost with the garden design.
Approaching the house up the leafy lanes you could be in deepest countryside. We have lots of native garden birds visit us and have other native species (we have seen slow worms and toads!) – we have always tried to garden with nature in mind. The large useful Hartley Botanic Greenhouse was a little luxury we indulged in and has produced bountiful crops. The garden has lots of fruit bushes and trees and we are never short of apples."
