Spacious, Light Filled Home With South Facing Garden, Extension Potential & No Onward Chain!

The Sellers View
What stands out most about Magnolia is the sense of space—the rooms are all so generously sized, and with a full south facing rear aspect, the house is always bathed in natural light.

This was the only home I knew before leaving for university, and it was a wonderful place to grow up. I have so many memories of playing in the large garden, setting up a paddling pool on the lawn, and spending summer afternoons sunbathing. We loved hosting gatherings, whether it was a big party with 50 friends flowing between the kitchen, dining room, and living room, or summer celebrations out in the garden, with tables and chairs set up on the lawn and patios.

The magnolia tree in the garden was planted when I was born, so in a way, we’ve grown up together—which is why we call the house Magnolia.

The location was perfect for my childhood and teenage years. I cycled to Park House, then moved on to St Bart’s for Sixth Form. It was such an easy walk into town to meet friends for a coffee or wander down by the canal. Stroud Green was just a short stroll away, and Greenham Common, which was once closed off as an airbase, became a favourite spot for long walks under wide-open skies.

Inside, the dining room doubled as my music and playroom, the go-to space whenever friends came over. It worked out perfectly—my parents could still enjoy a quiet evening in the living room, while we had our own space without disturbing them. This home has given me so many happy memories, and I hope it brings just as much joy to whoever lives here next.

The Agents View
no onward chain - This spacious home sits on a generous plot in a peaceful, no through road, offering both privacy and potential. With planning permission already granted for an extension above the garage to add a fourth double bedroom, there’s plenty of room to grow. The south facing garden is a suntrap, and the sunken patio area ensures complete privacy. At the front, there’s currently driveway parking for two vehicles, but with some reconfiguration, you could easily create space for up to five cars.

While the house does require renovation, it presents an incredible opportunity to transform a blank canvas into something truly special. The windows and doors throughout have recently been replaced, so that’s one thing you won’t need to worry about. I have no doubt that this wonderful home will be cherished by its next owners for many years to come.
