Kingcombe Farmhouse is a small hamlet situated in the Hooke Valley.

The area used to form part of the Lower Kingcombe Estate which once extended to approximately 600 acres and had been farmed on very traditional lines for several centuries and contains a rare abundance of flora, fauna and wildlife and perhaps why the area is designated as being a Site of Special Scientific Interest and was acquired by the Dorset Wildlife Trust who run the nearby Kingcombe Centre.

From Maiden Newton proceed west on the A356 towards Crewkerne. After about 1 mile turn left signed Toller Porcorum. Proceed for 3⁄4 mile into the village and over a small bridge taking the first right signed Hooke. Proceed for 1 mile into the hamlet around a left hand bend and the property
