The Owner's Comments..
We bought our family home back in 2017 having moved from Windsor looking for more space and outstanding schools for our children. Ascot ticks all these boxes and we’ve enjoyed exploring local places such as Swinley Forest and Windsor Great Park. It’s also really handy to be on the train line to London or reading. Bracknell is a short drive and has many shops and restaurants meaning you rarely actually need to go to London.
The house is on a private estate with lots of friendly neighbours and we’ve enjoyed sitting in the garden which gets sun till late in the evening.
We’re looking for someone who likes a home not just a house and will appreciate the property as much as we did.
Area Comments...
Geffers Ride is part of a beautiful mature development of ex Crown Estate land, creating a tranquil community of prestigious homes set amongst protected greenery and quiet cul-de-sacs of homes, easily making this one of Ascot's most desirable locations.
Right around the corner from the race course which is a local hotspot for dog walking and runners, and the high street just beyond that with an array of cafes, boutiques, convenience stores, restaurants & gyms. The station is just over a mile away and is well connected with direct routes into London & Reading. Windsor Great Park & Virginia Water Lake are a short drive away with thousands of acres to explore, while Swinley Forest, Englemere Pond & Lily Hill Park are almost on the doorstep!
It's in great proximity to esteemed educational institutions, including Ascot Heath Primary School, South Ascot Village Primary School, Charters, and Ranelagh Secondary Schools.
Matt & Ovie's Comments...
This is a great family home for many reasons, from being welcomed into a lovely bright entrance hall and then starting with the vast and elegant reception areas, that seamlessly flow from one room to another perfect for cozying up on a winter's night or entertaining friends and family throughout the summer months with a beautiful landscaped garden and modern, sociable kitchen. The bedrooms are all a great size with fitted wardrobes and there's a separate study area downstairs as well as a utility room & WC. On top of all that, there's parking for at least 6 vehicles & a double garage, all the while being under a mile to Ascot High Street.
