The village benefits from a village hall, public house and medieval parish church. Askerswell is conveniently placed for Dorchester and Weymouth to the East and Bridport to the West. Nearby Bridport is a bustling market town with a history of rope-making and is close to the World Heritage Jurassic coastline.
