This mature bay fronted semi-detached house was constructed by Messrs Lloyd Builders in the 1930’s, a company of repute who created a name for quality family homes. Elevated from the road this has been a much loved home for our client for approximately 56 years and enjoys generous room proportions, typical of its era, with a bright sitting/dining room, an extended kitchen and three bedrooms which are complemented by an attractive enclosed southerly facing landscaped garden which is mainly laid to lawn, with patio and decked terrace. An attached single garage and additional driveway parking are further attributes of this lovely home.
The property is enviably positioned within easy reach of a host of highly regarded schools including Shiphay Academy, Sherwell Valley Primary School and Torquay’s Grammar Schools whilst Torbay Hospital is found within a short walk. Access onto the new South Devon Highway is also easily accessible, ideal for those commuting toward the regional city of Exeter or beyond.

Owner Insight
"Over the last 56 years this house has offered us everything that we could have ever wished for from a home, homely, comfortable, warm and cosy. It has been a very happy home where we have raised our family and created an abundance of wonderful memories.
Enjoying a southerly aspect to the rear we have enjoyed many a time pottering in the garden enjoying the best of the English Riviera sunshine whilst creating our own little ‘oasis’, which we will miss dearly when we move.
Over the decades of living here we have had a wonderful selection of neighbours, many of whom became friends. We know that it is a little cliché, but we really wish that we could take them with us.
It is with a heavy heart that we have now made the difficult decision to downsize, but hope that any new owners will enjoy this house as much as our family has, and will be able to create their own lifelong memories!”
