Description
Set in the heart of Polruan and situated in an elevated position with far-reaching views across the Fowey estuary, Postcard Lodge is a beautifully presented detached residence, tastefully decorated throughout. Steps from Tinkers Hill lead up to a charming front terrace. The main entrance opens directly into a contemporary open-plan living space, which includes a separate dining area. Stylish dark slate floors, with underfloor heating, provide warmth, while a log burner offers cozy evenings in front of the fire. All sanatory wear throughout the property is high-spec Laufen. Bi-fold doors open onto the terrace, the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee while watching the comings and goings on the water, and allowing for seamless indoor-outdoor living. A picture window to the side continues the stunning vista.
Steps lead up to a smart in-frame kitchen with granite work surfaces, a range cooker, oak shelving, and an island with seating. Also on this floor, you will find a family bathroom and two bedrooms, one en suite. The spacious hallway includes a storage cupboard, and stairs turn up to a landing featuring a full-height ceiling with two Velux windows that flood the area with light.
The principal bedroom is a large, spacious room with a smart en suite and a beautiful, sheltered balcony offering outstanding views. There are two further bedrooms, one of which is also en suite. A glazed door opens to an upper terrace, a large area perfect for BBQs, relaxing in the hot tub, and enjoying views over the rooftops of Polruan across the estuary to Fowey and the sea beyond. Additionally, there is a handy utility kitchen.
