About this property
Delightful split-level two double bedroom period conversion apartment of 776 square feet.
A Freehold-share, a fresh and neutral decorative scheme, a walk-in wardrobe and double-glazing are just some of the flat's welcome features.
This is a quiet residential side-street but you are so well-placed and connected! Honor Oak’s high street area is just a couple of minutes away (at the end of the street) and Honor Oak Park Station is a five minute stroll; for both regular and Overground services.
From the shared hall, your front door is straight ahead. Take the stairs up here and from the half-landing area you have your windowed bathroom (smart modern white suite and fittings feat. Here) and independent w.c. To your right.
At the back of the building is your smart kitchen - which has modern fitted white gloss units (paired with wooden worktops), recessed lighting (as throughout the property - nice touch!), and a double-glazed door; which pleasingly makes the most of the room’s west-facing orientation.
From the main landing, on your left is your first bedroom - of over 12 feet by over 10 feet, with fitted closets to each alcove.
The front of the floor hosts a generous open-plan reception/dining room, of over 16 feet by over 12 feet, with engineered oak to the floor and built-in shelving to one alcove. Four east-facing windows keep matters bright.
Take the stairs to your second floor and you will find the second bedroom, of over 13 feet by 9 feet. Off here you have a deep walk-in wardrobe and also accessible eaves storage (grand for suitcases, Christmas decorations and such).
What a great place to lay your hat - there are lots of independent businesses on Honor Oak Park, Brockley Rise and Brockley Road. Some of our favourites are Babur, Honor Oak Vintner, Miss Margherita, Two Spoons and Malaysian Deli.
Jack Studio Theatre is also local, plus (dance and cinema nights at) The Rivoli Ballroom.
Local spots for a nice tipple or two include Jerome’s, Joyce, London Beer Dispensary, Brockley Brewery and The Chandos.
Up nearer Brockley Station, we like Ellary’s and Mauby. Near Crofton Park Station the cafe culture is notably strong! Here we like Fred’s (particularly for Brick Lane Bagels) and Dream Story.
Local green spaces are close as well. Blythe Hill Fields, Hilly Fields and Ladywell Fields are all easily walkable, as are Benchley Gardens and local Victorian cemeteries.
