Meonstoke village, situated in the South Downs National Park, has a great sense of community: With its infant and nursery schools, impressive village hall, two recreation grounds, tennis court and church there is always something going on. The former Meon Valley Railway, now an 11 mile track suitable for walking, cycling and horse-riding, leads from the village to West Meon in a northerly direction and the village of Wickham to the south. The village is on the South Downs Way and the Wayfarer’s Walk. There is an excellent village shop and post office, currently a finalist in the ‘Rural Oscars’.
