Description
Colne House is etched into local history. Colne House estate, which dates back to the 18th century and was home to it’s most notable custodian, the Buxton family for over a century, forming part of their grand north Norfolk estate. Over the years the estate has served as a Red Cross Hospital in World War I, then transformed into a well renowned hotel, before finally being converted in to separate residences in the 1980’s. The present owners have sympathetically transformed the property to a high specification, in keeping with the grade II listing on the property. The generous accommodation is split over three floors and comprises:- a large reception hallway, cloakroom, modern fitted kitchen, sitting room with a feature bay window, four bedrooms with en-suite to the principal suite, shower room and loft room. Additional benefits include, plenty of storage, allocated parking and an enclosed well-tended rear garden. The home is situated in the heart of Cromer but tucked away in a quiet secluded conservation area. A short stroll into the town and to the beach.
